Inclusive Design with Lisa McMichael

We're looking forward to this conversation about inclusive design with Lisa and Mark. We hope you'll join us!

Lisa McMichael is a human-centered design thinker and maker. Her digital design career began in 1996. She’s been learning new tech, and how to apply it in a human-centered way ever since. She launched Intro to User-centered Design at the Art Institute of Tampa in 2006. Since 2015, Lisa's focus has been on designing inclusive digital experiences.

Along her journey in user centered design, Lisa's learned that access is blocked to many digital environments – for example websites and apps – simply due to uninformed and/or indifferent design choices. These choices impact every online consumer. Today, her focus is on designing inclusive experiences as the way to deliver tangible customer value to the broadest spectrum of digital consumers.

Mark Richman has written on user experience for Boxes and Arrows, teaches UX Design at General Assembly, and has been a featured speaker at industry conferences. He has created user experiences for Delta Air Lines, AT&T, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and Georgia Power.

We'll be online for this event. We'll send out the Zoom passcode the day of the event.
